Azuma mini - white/green

In the 16th century, during Japan's Edo period, citizens were inspired by Western-style bags introduced through limited trade. They created **Azuma bags**, named after an archaic word for "eastern," using available kimono fabrics. Unlike structured Western designs, Azuma bags were crafted from a single square of fabric, folded into a simple yet versatile form. These bags reflected Japanese aesthetics of practicality and beauty, blending foreign influence with traditional craftsmanship. Their lightweight and functional design made them popular for daily use, embodying the resourcefulness and creative response of the Edo period. sAto is now excited to share the wisdom of their ancestors with upcycled materials.
